TÜV SÜD Danmark and Vanaheim AB have signed an agreement of future cooperation in the Scandinavian Rail market. The two leading providers of independent safety assessments and Notified Body certification services, Vanaheim AB and TÜV SÜD Danmark – which has supported its customers in the rail market since 2002 – have decided to combine forces in the future to benefit their rail customers.
The cooperation agreement was signed by John-Olof Hermanson, owner of Vanaheim, Lars Brockhoff, MD of TÜV SÜD Danmark, and Klaus Bosch, CEO of TÜV SÜD Rail, at the booth of TÜV SÜD Rail at InnoTrans 2014. “Signing the agreement during InnoTrans, the largest rail event in Europe, is a clear statement of the importance we consider this cooperation agreement to have for our existing and future customers”, says Lars Brockhoff.
“In TÜV SÜD Rail, Vanaheim has found a solid and well-known partner that has the ambition and commitment to support customers in the rail industry over the long term,“ says John-Olof Hermanson, Managing Director of owner-managed company Vanaheim. “Thanks to this cooperation, we will now be in an even better position to support our customers with the full range of services they expect from us“.
“We see a need for a strong local Scandinavian provider of independent safety and certification services to the rail industry", says Klaus Bosch, CEO of TÜV SÜD Rail. "By bringing together the global expertise and know-how of the two companies, TÜV SÜD – represented by the experienced experts at TÜV SÜD Danmark – and Vanaheim can now provide even better support to their clients in the Scandinavian market.”
