On 14 February 2015, the Turkish Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology enacted Communiqué 2015/9, indicating the energy labelling requirements for filament lamps, fluorescent lamps, high intensity discharge lamps, and LED lamps and LED modules. Annex 1 of the Communiqué states the provisions all the mentioned lamps and lighting fixtures must be labelled accordingly.
Turkish Decision No. 2011/2257 was implemented by the Communiqué regarding the labelling of energy related products and it is modelled on EU Regulation 874/2012 for luminaries energy labelling.
The Communiqué enters into force on 1 July 2015. Communiqué 2002/02 on Energy Labelling of Household Type Light Bulbs will be invalid after that.
