On 15 June 2015 the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) published the 13th update of the REACH Candidate List. Two new Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs) were added, thus increasing the total number of SVHCs on the Candidate List from 161 to 163.
These substances include one phthalate and a group entry with very persistent and very bioaccumulative properties.
Table A below lists these two new substances, their identification numbers, potential applications and the property that classifies the substances as SVHC.
