The Belarusian Council of Ministers on 27 January 2017 adopted an amendment to Resolution No. 849 related to the implementation timeline of mandatory conformity assessment for specified products regulated in the List of Products and Equipment Subject to Mandatory Conformity Assessment.
The timeline for the implementation of mandatory conformity assessment of both household appliances and office-used equipment including household refrigerating appliances, electric ovens, air conditioners, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, compact fluorescent lamps, televisions/ TV Monitors, coffee machines, toasters, printers, and scanners etc. has been postponed to 1 July 2018.
The date of implementation of mandatory certification of conformity requirements for external power supplies, and declaration of conformity for single speed three phase induction motors has been amended to 1 September 2017
The date of mandatory conformity assessment implementation of telecommunication devices listed in the Annex at 10.7, 10.8, 10.12, radio devices (10.14) and wireless devices (10.15) has been amended to 1 May 2017.
The date of the mandatory conformity assessment implementation of electric cables (voltage up to 1000V AC and 1500V DC), fire safety and fire-fighting equipment, personal protective equipment, specified kinds of telecommunication equipment (listed at 10.1-10.6, 10.9-10.11, 10.13, 10.16 of the Annex) and advanced driver training services has not changed from 1 February 2017.
This resolution came into force on 2 February 2017.
