TÜV SÜD South Asia (EnE lab) successfully extends India BIS scope on 10th November 2017. The extended products (see below) are subject to BIS Compulsory Registration Scheme (CRS) - phase III product scope which will come into force from 23 February 2018. This scope extension means TÜV SÜD India lab now is able to perform the testing to these products for the purpose of BIS Compulsory Registration Scheme (CRS).
1.Adapters for household and similar electrical appliances
2.Coverage of Plasma/LCD/LED TVs of screen size up-to 32”
3.Coverage of following products:
(a) Visual Display Units, Video Monitors of Screen Size up-to 32”;
(b) CCTV Cameras/Equipment for CCTV Cameras;
(c) USB Driven barcode Readers, Barcode Scanners, Iris Scanners, Optical Fingerprint scanners;
(d) Smart Watches
