Effective from 15 July 2016, the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) added six triazines herbicides to the Proposition 65 chemical list as known to the state to have harmful effects on reproductive and developmental functions. The warning requirement will take effect one year later.
OEHHA initially provided notice that these chemicals would be listed and effective on 3 August 2015. Due to legal challenge to the listing, this was later changed several times because of delays in the litigation. As a result, a new effective date has been reset.
