From 8-10 September, 300 hackers, makers and innovators from all over the world are going to rock the TECHFEST MUNICH / MORE_THAN A HACKATHON.
Within 72 hours participants develop new solutions and build working hardware and software prototypes. Art, music, video installations, barbecue and special activities provide the perfect festival atmosphere. More information can be found at www.techfestmunich.com
TÜV SÜD will have its’ own interdisciplinary team of 6 persons which will work on the topic of ‘The future of certification: Trends like 3D Printing, softwarisation, IoT, makers, and more and more e-commerce have direct influence on the certification business. How could the world of certification look like in the future – or even today?’
The team consists of colleagues from various countries, divisions and functions: Christopher is an IT Security Expert, Seema from India works in Product Development & Innovation, Stephan from Product Service in Germany works in the Light & Multimedia Department, David is in Innovation & Digital Service in the Industry Division, Marcus from TÜV Hessen works in Sales & Business Development and Kevin from Canada is an Electrical Technologist.
Together with the topic owner Asli Solmaz-Kaiser from Product Service, they’re excited about the opportunity to dive into the atmosphere of TECHFEST and experience the product development process from ideation to rapid prototyping.
Methods like design thinking, prototyping and agile development will increasingly become important for TÜV SÜD, which is developing existing and new business areas like autonomous driving, cyber security, smart home & smart factory, wearables & sensors, safer online shopping as well as drones for inspection.
