Meet the Experts
Dr. Andreas Hauser Director, Digital Service, TÜV SÜD
Dr. Andreas Hauser has completed his PhD in Applied Mathematics in the field of High Performance Computing and developed data and simulation based software for the R&D cycle of power and environmental industry products.
As director of Digital Service within TÜV SÜD, he is responsible for the development and implementation of the digital strategy in Singapore.
He is the author of numerous publications, holds several patents, reviews latest technical developments, and chairs the Workgroup "Interoperability" within the Smart Water Network Forum.
Mr. Foo Soo Guan Vice-President, Digital Service, TÜV SÜD
Mr. Foo Soo Guan joined TÜV SÜD after 17 years in the IT industry both in the private and the public sectors with extensive experience in areas such as IT management, Sales and Business Development.
He has held management and operational roles in areas such as strategic IT management, large scale project integration and implementation in the public sector. In the private sector, he has lead teams successfully in sales management, consultancy and business development.
In his new role with TÜV SÜD, he will be driving the development of innovative digital services for infrastructure and healthcare areas.
Dr. Edson Hiroshi Aoki Lead Data Scientist, Digital Service, TÜV SÜD
Dr. Edson Hiroshi Aoki received his Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics from University of Twente, The Netherlands, in 2013. Together with his co-workers, he received Best Application award at the 15th International Symposium on Advanced Intelligent Systems, Kitakyushu, Japan, in 2014. He has a long history of industrial experience with applied statistics, data analytics and data fusion applied to diverse fields including defence, finance, robotics, retail, urban planning and transportation
He is currently the Lead Data Scientist in TÜV SÜD Asia Pacific's Digital Service Centre of Excellence.
