TÜV SÜD Auto Service appoints Bernhard Kerscher to its Board
Bernhard Kerscher (50) will join the Management Board of TÜV SÜD Auto Service GmbH with effect from 1 October. Together with Viktor F. Metz, he will be responsible for managing the largest subsidiary of TÜV SÜD AG with 3,800 staff and revenue of EUR 445 million.
New member of the Management Board of TÜV SÜD Auto Service GmbH: Bernhard Kerscher. | A graduate automotive and industrial engineer and acknowledged sales professional with extensive international experience, Kerscher joins TÜV SÜD from commercial vehicle manufacturer MAN, where he last held the position of Managing Director of MAN Truck und Bus Deutschland GmbH. This appointment completes the restructuring of the Management Board of TÜV SÜD Auto Service GmbH after Horst Schneider, the company's long-standing CEO, was promoted to Member of the Board of Management of TÜV SÜD AG with responsibility for the MOBILITY strategic business segment, with effect from 1 August: "We have found an outstanding expert in the automotive sector in Bernhard Kerscher, with whom we will advance the successful course of TÜV SÜD Auto Service GmbH", emphasizes Schneider. |
Together with Viktor F. Metz, Kerscher will manage the largest subsidiary of TÜV SÜD AG. As in the past, the Management Board will be supported by the members of the management team Wolfgang Eichler and Gerhard Gloeckner.
