Valuation in accordance with German and international standards

Rüdiger Hornung MRICS / HypZert(F) is the new CEO of TÜV SÜD ImmoWert GmbH. The subsidiary of the technical service corporation TÜV SÜD offers valuation for real-estate purchase, sale, mortgaging, accounting and taxation in Germany and at international level. In addition to financial institutes, mortgage banks and real estate owners in Germany, TÜV SÜD ImmoWert also serves clients involved in international investment, accounting and financing structures.

In addition to his technical qualifications as architect and chartered surveyor in accordance with international (MRICS) and German (HypZert(F)) standards, Rüdiger Hornung is supported in his new role as CEO of TÜV SÜD ImmoWert GmbH by an extensive international network. After graduating in real estate economics from the European Business School in 2003/2004, he worked as a real-estate valuation surveyor in a global network. His primary activities include valuation of commercial property and real-estate portfolios, support of international clients and the field of sustainability certificates.

In his new position as CEO Rüdiger Hornung will promote the internationalization of property valuation in the Real Estate Division of TÜV SÜD AG, the global provider of technical services. TÜV SÜD ImmoWert GmbH has been operating on the market for ten years.

The company, with 50 staff – 40 of whom are surveyors – is represented at seven locations and is one of the top players in real estate valuation in Germany. "We are well placed throughout Germany and have excellently qualified surveyors, so that we can thus meet our clients' demand for qualified valuation in accordance with German and international standards promptly and at fair conditions", says Rüdiger Hornung. "We are continuously improving our TÜV SÜD real-estate valuation, which is already highly successful in Germany, by offering extras such as ImmoVisit or value indication, which places us in pole position for the rollout of our services at international level." TÜV SÜD is represented at over 600 locations with 17,000-plus staff, says Hornung. "Given this, we have the unrivalled capacity to evolve into the largest international property valuation firm – independently of financing institutes and real-estate agents."
