From Feb 2016, TÜV SÜD South Asia laboratory in India was successfully recognized by BIS for scope extension to include more products under the existing scope of IS 616:2010 and IS 13252 (Part 1):2010. Last October TÜV SÜD South Asia lab was already accredited by BIS to perform tests for phase one products of Compulsory Registration Scheme (CRS). Now the lab holds wider scope to perform test which covers household appliances, ITE equipments, Audio Video and similar electronic apparatus.
From now on, the customer may send the sample to our Indian laboratory for testing. TÜV SÜD group has the experience and capability to support manufacturers in attaining compliance with Indian regulatory requirements. Involving a third-party testing and certification organisation like TÜV SÜD helps manufacturers to meet all requirements in the target markets quickly and cost-efficiently. The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) resolves to be the leader in all matters concerning standardization, certification and quality. The testing for BIS CRS scheme is mandatory for prescribed products. As a BIS-recognised testing laboratory, TÜV SÜD can help customer to successfully demonstrate compliance to the requirements of the Compulsory Registration Scheme.
