Matthias Rosenthal is new Team Leader Global Sales Softlines at TÜV SÜD
Matthias Rosenthal is Team Leader Global Sales Softlines in the Consumer Product Services Unit, with responsibility for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Benelux and Scandinavia. Looking back on over 15 years of experience in the textile, apparel and leather industries, he joined TÜV SÜD Product Service GmbH with effect from 1 March 2016. Rosenthal will act as liaison for companies requiring services such as audits and certificates, chemical and physical tests, and support with the development of new markets worldwide.
Based on his experience with the purchasing of products and services on behalf of renowned brands in the textile and leather industries, Matthias Rosenthal has in-depth understanding of customer requirements. "For me, customer satisfaction comes first and has top priority. To achieve this customer satisfaction, I rely on professional, reliable and sustainable work and communication", explains Rosenthal. He also has profound expertise in establishing customer relationships and building key accounts for laboratory testing, inspections and audits in the German-speaking countries, and concerning the global supply chains of customers. "I am very excited about the new challenges and responsibilities at TÜV SÜD, and look forward to contributing my expertise and experience to the benefits of all parties involved", says Rosenthal.
Global network of experts and laboratories TÜV SÜD has a global network of roughly 30 testing laboratories for leather and textiles. The services offered comprise physical tests as well as chemical analyses. In addition to product testing, TÜV SÜD's experts carry out pre-shipment inspections on site in factories and offer auditing and certification in accordance with all major national and international standards. By offering these services, the international services corporation of TÜV SÜD supports manufacturers and exporters in meeting the quality and safety standards of all major markets and assists purchasing agents in global sourcing activities.
