Mark Jenkins has been appointed as Certification Manager for TÜV SÜD BABT, the world’s leading telecommunications certification Body.
TÜV SÜD BABT is an independent company within the TÜV SÜD Group, and has the broadest range of appointments and accreditations of any international telecommunications certification body. Providing a comprehensive suite of compliance and certification services to help equipment suppliers bring their radio and telecommunications terminal equipment to the market, TÜV SÜD BABT also helps network operators ensure that billing systems are accurate.
Mark first joined TÜV SÜD in 1994, specialising in telecoms and RF testing. In 2013, he moved to a new role as Quality and LEAN Manager for both TÜV SÜD Product Service UK and TÜV SÜD BABT. He will continue to fulfil this role alongside his new Certification Manager responsibilities for TÜV SÜD BABT.
Responsible for an international team of 70 technical certifiers in 12 countries, including China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Singapore, UK and USA, Mark will continue to grow the business by identifying news services which support customers as technology and regulations evolve.

TÜV SÜD BABT has over 30 years of professional experience, covering tens of thousands of product approvals, millions of approved goods and thousands of certified management systems. It has formal appointments under the EU-USA, EU-Canada and EU-Japan Mutual Recognition Agreements (MRAs), and is a Notified Body in Europe. While its main focus is the certification of telecom products, TÜV SÜD BABT also provides certification services for marine products, smart meters, photovoltaic cells, machinery and motorway signs. It can also provide audit services to support client’s Quality Management Systems.
