TÜV SÜD appoints new operations manager to support telecoms customers
TÜV SÜD region Japan has appointed a new Senior Manager for Telecom Engineering and Operations Management. Based in Tokyo, Nobuhiko Iwasaki, will manage a team of 25, delivering telecoms, wireless, payment and EMC services to customers.
Nobuhiko brings a wealth of management experience, having worked across the TÜV SÜD Japan business for the last six years.
“The telecoms market is extremely competitive, with new wireless technologies developing rapidly worldwide. Consequently, our customers are under pressure to deliver high quality products but within increasingly shorter time scales. We understand both their commercial pressures and the need to balance them against compliance requirements.
“We will therefore continue to develop innovative services that help our customers to achieve their goals. By working in close partnership with them and delivering a one-stop solution that streamlines the test and compliance process, we will help them gain a competitive advantage via fast and effective market access,” said Iwasaki.
TÜV SÜD Japan was established in 1993 to meet the increasing demand for enhanced quality and safety testing and certification in the Japanese market, and represents TÜV SÜD Product Service, the Notified Body for most European Directives. With its testing company, TÜV SÜD Zacta, it now has four sites across Japan - Tokyo head office, Kansai office, Tokyo testing centre and Yonezawa testing centre.
