TÜV SÜD performs shielding design integrity tests at Karolinska Hospital in Sweden
The New Karolinska Solna University Hospital (NKS) is a new university hospital being built in Stockholm, Sweden. NKS is Sweden's first public-private partnership (PPP) project in healthcare. TÜV SÜD Nuclear Technologies was awarded a substantial contract in 2015 to undertake the Radiation Shield Testing and Substantiation for the new hospital which comprises integrity testing of lead shielding for approximately 100 radiation rooms in total.
