7th Annual Food Sure Summit set for May in Amsterdam

The 7th Annual Food Sure Summit, to be held in Amsterdam from May 22-24, 2017 offers an ideal opportunity for industry participants at all levels to engage with other food professionals in an exploration of the latest developments and trends in the field of food safety. Spread over three full days, the Summit will feature presentations by more than 30 leaders in the food business, including regulatory officials, regulatory and quality control executives and professionals, researchers, educators, executives and retailers.
Forty-five separate sessions will visit a wide range of safety-related topics in the areas of quality, compliance, food supply chains, manufacturing and operations, technology and leadership. Many sessions will be structured as case studies, giving participants an opportunity to consider and discuss real-world food safety issues with others. Other sessions will showcase specific food safety solutions adopted by practitioners from around the food world.
Tuesday’s plenary keynote will feature Ladislav Miko, Deputy Director General for Food Safety, European Commission. Other plenary speakers will address topics ranging from next generation food safety risk assessments, a retailer’s perspective of the food safety audit process, engaging your workforce in food safety programmes and initiatives, and preparing for the food safety in the 21st century.
